With a passion for educating adults, youth and children about the brain, money and investing, Dr. Briggs draws on a lifetime of experience in healthcare, business, real estate and investing in her mission to support education.

She is a sought-after speaker, mentor, and business owner as well as an author. She is a self-made millionaire and a happily married woman.

Sharlet entered the business world in a position with a top healthcare organization and by age 24 she was overseeing the operations of multiple divisions. It didn't take long for Sharlet’s entrepreneurial spirit to surface and venture into the corporate world where she started and developed a new division.

Dr Briggs has started multiple businesses of her own and as a consultant to other entrepreneurs getting their businesses off the ground or looking to step into playing a bigger game.

Sharlet's real estate investing career began with the purchase of a 10 unit  distressed property in Memphis, Tennessee. Today Sharlet’s real estate investment company buys, sells and manages investment properties. She personally mentored one of Forbes’s “America’s Richest” in real estate investing.

In 2007, Sharlet and Dave founded the Thriving Brain™ to take the message and mission of brain literacy to a broad audience through books and other educational tools.

In 2009 Sharlet became Six Sigma Black Belt and Lean Management certified and immediately put her skills into productive use transforming workflow in the healthcare setting.

Dr Briggs has a PhD in Clinical Psychology.

David O. Eastman

Granddaughter Aimi

Dave brings a quiet reflection to the operational side of The Wealthy Daughter. His varied background includes Information Technology, business management, real estate investment and development, commercial and residential construction, auto mechanics, farming and maintenance.

The largest share of Dave's background is Information Technology management, spanning over two decades, mostly as a Regional Chief Information Officer, overseeing a staff of nearly forty in up to five hospitals across three states. During that time he introduced organizational development efforts that were embraced by a number of departments outside his own.

Dave has since leveraged that IT background into web and video production through Eastman Creations. He has filmed, edited, and produced numerous video projects, plus designed and developed two dozen web sites and published various books, both hardcopy and electronic "Kindle" books. Over two dozen DVDs and books he created are for sale on Amazon and other websites.

Out of college, Dave spent his first five years in construction. Since then he has kept his hand in various construction projects, covering nearly every aspect, including carpentry, painting, wallpapering, drywall, electrical, plumbing, tile, glass, and on the exterior, landscaping, decks, fences, and benches. He has a good eye for balance, color and design, and is insistent on quality construction. David's real estate investing has ranged from a four-plex, to a five duplexes surrounding a private lake, to an 18 unit-apartment. When an apartment or income property needs renovating, Dave is the go-to guy.

Dave understands the importance of customer service and the key role staff play in a quality product. He is able to build a loyalty most managers don't comprehend.

He has a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Arts and a minor in Business.

In his spare time, Dave rides and tweaks his Harley Davidson motorcycles. He is found keeping fit in the gym, water skiing and snow skiing.
